One of the goals of the University's partnership with EQ Works was to attract and engage foreign students, particularly from the US northeast. The number of foreign students attending university in Ontario increased 88.5% over six years, starting in 2010, according to figures provided by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.
Applicant quality was also of significant importance. While KPIs like increased applications and enrolments determine short-term campaign goal satisfaction, true campaign success results in an improved standing amongst peers across North America. EQ Works efforts resulted in a 22% increase in applications for the University, with the average GPA of accepted applicants starting at 81% and resulting in a high level of satisfaction from the institution.
