DIGITAL ADVERTISING SALES ASSOCIATES

EQ Works is looking for energetic, motivated sales associates to join its growing team in its EQ Ads real-time advertising division. If you are looking to be part of an amazing team, with a proprietary technology advantage in the fastest growing space in advertising, EQ Works is for you.

Responsibilities:

You will become a valued member of the team as you:

  • Generate new business opportunities with agencies, media buyers and direct clients and actively seek out new leads.
  • Identify, pitch, and close programmatic ad sales deals with agencies, media buyers and advertisers.
  • Create sales presentations, pitch materials and case studies.
  • Aggressively pursue sales leads, including prospecting and cold calling. Effectively manage pipeline
  • Work with operations to ensure campaigns are successful.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan
  • Establish key relationships within agencies, with media buyers and direct clients.

Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  • BA or advanced degree desirable.
  • 1-4 years experience in digital advertising sales or media buying at an agency, media buying agency, major publisher or programmatic technology company.
  • Network of contacts across industry of agencies, media planners, buyers and digital marketing decision makers.
  • Proven ability to generate over $1m in annual digital advertising sales, or if past experience is from a recognized media buying agency, strong network of media buyers and planners to tap into for sales.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Highly motivated and strong work ethic in a rapidly changing industry.
  • Experience selling or buying digital advertising products, with sound understanding of programmatic media
  • Understanding of digital products and suitability across various campaigns, and ability to position programmatic effectively
  • Ability to spot the opportunities in the marketplace and in different verticals, prepare persuasive materials to assist in the sales process, and a proven ability to overcome challenges
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical features in simple terms, with excellent oral and written presentation skills.
  • Great social skills, good with clients and willingness to attend industry events, mixers and other social events to network and win clients.

Job Description

Lead Development Representative (LDR), Social Media Analyst, Content Developer…Yes – we want it all!
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the LDR will be accountable for generating sales qualified leads and securing first meetings for our team of Account Executives.
This is an entry-level role for a self-motivated, junior sales person looking to get their foot in the door with the opportunity to move into an Account Executive role within 12-18 months.
You will be primarily responsible for prospecting clients to sell EQ’s digital marketing solutions. These include programmatic media buying, social media distribution, search engine marketing and search engine optimization services.
You will employ traditional tools such as phone and e-mail as well as leveraging social media platforms such as Linked-in, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to build the EQ brand and generate leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and qualifying sales opportunities over the phone and via email, working in close collaboration with EQ executives and sales support team
  • Conducting high-level needs analysis and understanding prospects challenges to determine how EQ’s platform and services can meet those needs
  • Building upon and leveraging EQ’s existing social media presence
  • Developing content artifacts that can be leveraged in EQ’s sales and marketing campaigns
  • Understanding trends and business problems within key industry verticals
  • Providing account intelligence and participating in account strategy development
  • Documenting sales calls, activities, connections and conversations in our CRM system
  • Understanding the online advertising, search engine and social media market and competitors

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in inside sales and rapport building with excellent telephone, social media and written skills
  • Previous prospecting experience in a business to business environment
  • Professional and mature with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated, highly organized & able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High degree of computer literacy, experience with a CRM system an asset
  • Detail oriented with accurate data entry and sales reporting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, adept at engaging senior executives
  • University / College degree in: business (with sales, marketing or finance major), marketing or equivalent
  • Quick learner, ability to grasp business concepts and high level understanding of our market

ACCOUNT MANAGER
An Account Manager works to ensure the overall success of the client engagement, provides support to the operations team, and assists in the set up and management of media plan executions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with clients
  • Act as day to day contact with clients
  • Nurture relationships with partner agencies and brands
  • Ensure campaign assets are collected and team deadlines are met
  • Work to understand the client’s business and online planning
  • Assist in the strategy and development of media plans
  • Administer and review all campaigns in flight
  • Oversee all accounting and administrative duties required on assigned accounts
  • Presentation skills and written and oral business communication skills
